Role Purpose
The Recruitment Administrator provides efficient and accurate administrative support throughout the recruitment and pre-employment process. The role is responsible for keeping recruitment activities organised, ensuring candidate information is accurate and up to date, coordinating interviews and assessments, completing pre-employment checks and supporting a smooth transition from successful candidate to new joiner. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate interviews, assessments, venues and candidate schedules
Prepare, publish and monitor internal and external vacancy advertisements
Maintain accurate candidate records and update the ATS throughout the recruitment process
Maintain and update recruitment trackers, vacancy status and candidate progress
Coordinate MIE checks, reference checks, criminal, credit and qualification verifications
Follow up on outstanding screening results and candidate documentation
Maintain accurate, confidential and audit-ready candidate files
Support high-volume recruitment campaigns and New Store Openings
Coordinate assessment days, interview days and recruitment events
Support offer administration and ensure all required documentation is completed
Coordinate onboarding documentation and handover of completed candidate files to HR
Respond to candidate queries and provide timely recruitment updates
Prepare recruitment reports and provide regular status updates to the Talent Acquisition team
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 / Matric is essential
A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field would be advantageous
Experience in recruitment or HR administration, ideally in a retail or high-volume environment
Experience coordinating interviews, references and MIE / pre-employment checks
Strong administration, attention to detail and follow-up skills
Comfortable using ATS platforms; Teamtailor experience is advantageous, but not essential
Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
Highly organised, proactive and service-focused
