Role Purpose

As a Financial Accountant you will manage daily financial processes, including general ledger reconciliations, invoice processing, and cash management, while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Focus on stock accounting, month-end closures, tax reporting and supporting the logistics team to ensure accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the monthly financial close process, preparing monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports

• Verifying accurate standard costs and overseeing stock counting processes

• Maintaining up-to-date reconciliations and handling general ledger setups

• Managing bank reconciliations, invoicing, and petty cash

• Ensuring all transactions comply with local tax laws, regulations, and company policies

• Utilizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and cloud accounting tools

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Previous experience in retail or FMCG is required

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (SAP experience is advantageous)

• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work with logistics and operations teams
